According to a survey done by the BBC, the average price of season tickets across all premier league clubs has fallen by 2.4%. What comes as a surprise, however, is the fact that Arsenal’s Emirates stadium is the most costly venue from where to watch football.
Supporters wishing to watch the gunners’ home games will be set back up to £126 each matchday. Those wishing to buy season tickets will require between £985 and £1955.
Considering Arsene Wenger’s frugal ways, it is a bit strange that his team are the most expensive to watch in England. Ozil aside, Arsenal rarely spend money in the transfer market, and their wages are meager compared to other top clubs.
Chelsea's most expensive matchday tickets, for instance, cost £87-placing them second on the costliest matchday tickets list.
Tottenham have the second most expensive season tickets in the EPL at £1895.
