3 Arsenal players that could really hurt Olympique de Marseille

Thanks to the kind of form they are showing at the moment, Arsenal are being strongly tipped to win tonight, when they take on Olympique de Marseille in a Champions’ league group stage game at the Stade velodrome.

So, without further ado, here are the three players who could win the game for the gunners.

Olivier Giroud

There are very few marksmen, in top European leagues, more prolific than Giroud at the moment. The Frenchman is in the form of his life and there is every possibility of him bagging a goal or two at Marseille tonight.

He is well-versed with the French league- having won the title with Montpellier in 2010- and probably knows more about tonight's opponents than any other Arsenal player.

Mesut Ozil

They say you get what you pay for, well; Mesut Ozil is the real deal. The German playmaker- dubbed by Mourinho as the best number 10 in the world-  is full of class at this level, and will most certainly be top of the list of Arsenal players Marseille will be keeping a keen eye on tonight.

The diminutive playmaker’s selflessness, vision and eye for goal are capable of keeping even the best defenses in the world on their toes, let alone Marseille’s.

Aaron Ramsey

The 22-year seems to have picked up from where he left off at the business end of last season, and finally looks like living up to the promise he showed before his horrific leg-break at the Brittania.

He has even added goals to his game and will be a very vital cog for the gunners’ midfield in the Champions league this season.

One thing many opposition teams tend to overlook is the fact that Ramsey is deceptively very good. If Marseille focus all their energies on Ozil, Wilshere and Cazorla, the criminally underrated Welshman will have a field day tonight.
